We are looking for a dynamic individual to help grow our Lettings Department in 1 of our 5 central London offices. The primary objective of the lettings manager is to win new instructions and grow the portfolio to a level where it can support a new lettings negotiator.
In addition to the normal managerial duties such as lettings appraisals, listings and landlord management, it is essential that the successful candidate has the appetite and ability to carry out viewings and agree new lets.
You will be an ambassador for the Company and should therefore have a thorough knowledge of lettings legislation, be well presented, enthusiastic, confident, polite and possess first-class communication skills. The successful candidate should be superbly organised, efficient, demonstrate great attention to detail and show a duty of care to both our clients and potential tenants in-keeping with the standards laid down by the National Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA).
Established in 1996 Hurford Salvi Carr are a niche private company who have a built a significant portfolio of residential development sales, landlords and private clients. As an independently owned company the successful candidate with be working closely with the Directors and senior staff.

Requirements
‘Generate new instructions, client cultivation and retention.’
- Attend market appraisals and secure instructions.
- Target call outs to applicants and book viewings to ensure the minimum target on bankings is reached
- Record comprehensive file notes and correspondence on Reapit
- Use, Build and Maintain the Landlord Prospecting database
- Build relationships with porters, show flat staff, developers and relocation agents.
- Ensuring weekly Landlord Feedback
- Answering LL and TT day to day enquires
- Organise photos / floor plans / 360 tours and other marketing collateral
- Manage marketing on Rightmove, Zoopla, On The Market and company websites.
- Support the company’s social media marketing, including writing blog posts and assisting with research.
- Implement a monthly canvassing strategy
- Preparing advertising copy with photographs
- Attending Networking or Industry events
- Keeping abreast of legislative changes/industry guidelines and ensuring compliance.
- Advising LL’s on technical legal issues
- Handle complaints and disputes at the first instance
- Provide assistance to renewal team on current rent levels
- Weekly/monthly meetings with managers and directors
Contracted Hours
9am-6pm Monday to Friday during British wintertime
9am-7pm 1 day/ week during BST (Fridays remain 9-6pm)
Saturdays are 10am-2pm, earning a half day in lieu. Rota is one in three (subject to change)
