Salary:  OTE £50k

WANTED! An experienced Lettings Manager in Basildon: overseeing residential lettings and property management: leading a team, growing the lettings portfolio, and delivering consistent service and financial performance.

We are recruiting a Lettings Manager to join a respected independent estate and lettings agency in the Basildon area.

This position offers responsibility for both lettings performance and people management within a busy residential operation.

 What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):

Managing the residential lettings and property management function
Overseeing the full lettings process from instruction to move-in
Leading, motivating, and developing the lettings team
Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and procedures
Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants
Maximising income through effective portfolio management
Monitoring targets, performance, and service standards
Managing time effectively to balance operational and managerial duties
 What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):

Proven experience in residential lettings
Strong knowledge of the lettings process and regulations
ARLA qualification beneficial
Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
Ability to build rapport with landlords, tenants, and colleagues
Experience managing and developing a team
Target-focused with strong organisational skills
Local knowledge of the Basildon area advantageous
Full UK driving licence
