We are looking for a Senior Property Manager to join our team!
Martyn Gerrard Lettings, a leader in property management across North London, is seeking a Senior Property Manager to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated professional to oversee a portfolio of properties, ensure the smooth running of operations, and provide an excellent level of service to our clients and tenants.

The large Property Management department employs 9 property managers, Head of Property Management, a Property management administrator and 3 Account assistants. Due to the rapid growth, we are now looking for an additional Property Manager.
The Role:
As a Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for your own properties, yet work together as part of the team, assisting each other and receiving help as needed.
We would prefer the successful candidate to be ARLA Qualified, but will help the property manager to obtain this qualification if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring compliance with legal, safety, and contractual obligations.
- Oversee day-to-day property management activities, including repairs, maintenance, tenancy renewals, and rent collections.
- Conduct regular property inspections and liaise with landlords and tenants to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, including tenancy agreements, compliance certificates, and insurance.
- Handle tenancy disputes and deposit returns, ensuring compliance with dispute resolution processes.
- Lead and mentor junior property managers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and tenants, ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Stay informed on industry changes and legal requirements, ensuring that all properties are managed in accordance with current regulations.
The property manager role is based in our Finchley Central Head Office, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Property Manager, with at least 2+ years in residential lettings.
- Strong knowledge of property management legislation and regulations, including ARLA qualifications or equivalent (preferred).
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a high level of attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence
